Thank you so much for this morning. I found it very beautiful to be meditating with others and lovely to hear other people’s experiences. I find meditation really grounds me and helps me to think clearly about what I might need so I can live within my own values and needs and not always as a response to others. It’s clear to me that Jane invests a lot of time into preparing her sessions as the content over the months, which I have been attending has been both varied and relevant; I particularly enjoy the wonderful poetry which Jane includes.

Although sessions have been on zoom more recently, Jane’s warm caring self still comes through so the feeling of personal connection is not lost, so if you are not sure about Zoom I would recommend you give it a go.

I am relatively new to meditation [about a year] but have found the sessions very accessible. Additionally I find that after meditating with Jane’s guidance I feel more focused, better connected with the important things in life, a sense of stability and calm which are long lasting.

Meditation has already helped me in my day to day life which I find amazing especially after a relatively short amount of time. Whether you are interested in meditation as a beginner, sceptical or more experienced I would really recommend Jane’s “Meditation for Living” as her approach and classes have real heart, backed up by her great understanding of meditation, it’s benefits along with her ability to be able to share all of this with compassion and kindness.

Just to say how helpful your introduction to meditation was, I have found it most interesting and try to meditate when I feel rather stressed or just to slow down a little. I find that just a few minutes of gentle breathing helps calm me down.

I found the talk given by Jane very enjoyable. It was calming and relaxing as was Jane’s manner. With today’s fast pace of life and high expectations it would help everyone’s health and wellbeing to practice meditation

I found Jane’s explanation of the various types of meditation most informative. The exercises we all practised together were made even more beneficial to me because Jane herself exuded such a strong sense of tranquillity and peace.
